What is cryptozoology?
Cryptozoology means: (Crypto - Hidden) + (zoo - animals) + (ology - study of); or the study of hidden animals. These are animals that have been referred to in tales and lore, but an actual animal has not yet been found. Many of these tales have been found to be real animals, such as the Mountain Gorilla, Pygmy Elephant and Rhinoceros, and so many more. Bigfoot, Loch Ness Monster, Chupacabra, Jersey Devil and so many other creatures continue to be investigated.
